Saturday Concert Pictures
The Saturday concert, emceed by Lawrence Cameron, was scheduled to begin at 16h00. I did not arrive until 17h15 and so missed the initial part of this concert; my apologies to anyone whose earlier performance is not represented here. If anyone has a list of the initial performances of this concert, please send them to me and I will update this listing.
Given my late arrival, I did not get a choice seat for my camera’s capabilities. I took most of the photos standing at the right side of the hall near the front, but sometimes the stage equipment (primarily microphones) got in the way and I had to shoot from my seat; that often resulted in heads of those seated in front of me showing prominently in the photos. So, take the photos for what they are: my best attempt to capture what was going on at a live event, not professional photographs.
The Performance Listing below reflects the names I heard and wrote down at the concert, but given my lack of acute hearing, what I present here may well not be what was said. Moreover, I did not get all of the names and I apologize in advance to those whose names I have shown as question marks, mis-heard, or misspelled. Thanks to Sharon and Allan Cameron for supplying me with a number of the missing names and for correcting my misspellings.
