Taken from the same spot as the previous photo, this upriver view shows the falls above the pool seen in the previous photo; the sides of the river gorge tower above the scene and one now has the distinct impression of being at the bottom of a canyon. The exposed bedrock here is a great place to sit and enjoy the noisy river rushing past.
