In this fine view from Sangaree along the Trout Brook Road, the wide expanse of the Mira appears more like a lake than a river, with the unnamed mountain range beyond Marion Bridge still visible at the horizon left of centre of the photo.
The road in this area is also lined with houses and cottages. The dock at the left of the photo is but one of many on both banks of the Mira in this area, where boating and fishing are very popular.
Also, notice the white flowers on the bushes in the foreground, just beginning to come into bloom.
