The CMTC does a splendid job of keeping the hiker on track. This trail junction signage couldn’t be clearer. The orange button on the middle sign is used on trees to mark the trail any time there could be any question as to where it goes, as through waist-high ferns; when needed, such markers are usually within sight of each other. But often, there is no need for such markers, as the trail couldn’t possibly be mistaken. Also notice the beautiful filtered light, a great boon on an otherwise warm day.
