This photo was taken close to the start of the Railway Trail not far from the Inverness Miners’ Museum in Inverness village. Just outside the harbour lies the Gulf of St Lawrence (Northumberland Strait), along which runs Inverness Beach and its fine boardwalk (neither visible in this photo). The weather couldn’t have been finer on this gorgeous day at the end of spring.
