This photo is proof positive that there were red trees to be seen in Cape Breton this year. This one was so bright as I passed by it on the way back from Meat Cove that I simply had to stop and take its photo. I have perhaps another hundred photos of red trees at various places around the Island; my choice of this photo to stand for the rest was totally arbitrary.
