At seventeen minutes, the whole view opens up. Salt Mountain is the notched mountain at the left (the notch is where a power line crosses the mountain). Some of the buildings in the village of Whycocomagh can be seen in the centre of the photo. It was misting slightly on Campbells Mountain at this time, misting considerably more towards Whycocomagh, and raining on the other side of Whycocomagh Bay, so the photo is not very crisp.
This is the same view taken on the return trip, when the sun was out on Campbells Mountain Road, but hadn’t quite made it to Whycocomagh village, which was still under heavy cloud cover, while worse weather still prevailed on the far side of Whycocomagh Bay.
