Taken 2007 August 10 from the Cape Smokey Trail at the head of the ravine
This railed footbridge crosses the brook at the head of the ravine around which the trail’s initial course circles. I found the nearby bench (not visible here) very convenient on the return hike, as I was puffing from the hike up from the second look-off. (This photo was taken on the return hike.)
