Fiona MacCorquodale and her fiddle instructor, Aaron Crane, are members of the Queens County Fiddlers from Prince Edward Island, a large contingent of whom attended the festival this year. Fiona, a grade 5 student, is the 2009 recipient of the Queens County Fiddlers’ Scholarship to the Gaelic College of Celtic Performing Arts in St. Anns. Her poise on stage and her playing won the hearts of the audience. This is a young lady of whom we will hear much more in the future!
