From the pier at the south end of Chéticamp Island, a road continues up a hill and out to the end of the point; I attempted to drive it, but had to back down half way up as it was too rocky for my car. I parked below the hill and walked up and out as far as I could; it was from here that I took this photo looking south.
Cap le Moine (”Friars Head”) is the point jutting out at the right of this photo. The community itself is on the other side of the hill which goes out to the cape. The mountains one sees running from the middle of the photo to the far right are on the south side of the Margaree River and lead out to Margaree Harbour (outside the scope of this photo).
