Although I was a bit later than usual getting there on this trip, one of my first visits after arriving in Cape Breton Island is to the guard rails on the Colindale Road, for its magnificent views of the southern part of Cape Mabou and of the mouth of the Mabou River. Photo #1 shows the view that greeted me on this first visit; you may want to contrast it with the view here, taken earlier this year of essentially the same scene. I hope you lovers of grey out there will enjoy this photo; as for me, I much prefer the blue sky view of this scene (and nearly all others). Greys do very little for me!
