Shortly after it passes under the Cèilidh Trail (Highway 19), Captains Brook expands into a wide outflow, of which this is the lower end, seen from the causeway near Little Judique Harbour. This area is also known as Livingstones Pond. This is a quiet spot with plentiful bird life. The bridge in the middle of the causeway is a nice spot for a picnic lunch and marks the place where I reverse course for the return trek.
