This view provides a better idea of the bridge’s elevation, as one can see in the foreground that it towers over the trees below.
The Southwest Mabou River isn’t directly visible here buts its course through the channel it has carved on the far side of the field in the middle ground, between rows of bordering trees, is easily seen. Campbell Brook enters the river to the left of the field, outside the scope of this photo; I believe that point is visible neither from the bridge nor from the trail.
