Looking towards Rosedale
from the Campbells Mountain Look-Off

This is a land of glens and valleys and ridges and mountains, none of which are named on the typographical map. The Rosedale Road runs from the Whycocomagh Road north to Miramichi outside of Brook Village through the valley on the far side of the nearest sloping ridge; snowmobile trail 408 (car driveable in 2007 with a couple of minor bottom scrapes) follows the same route (and ultimately loops back to Campbells Mountain Road). Rosedale, by the way, is not to be confused with Roseburn, which lies at the foot of Campbells Mountain itself. The road at the bottom of this photo is the South Side Roseburn Road, which runs into the Roseburn Valley on the west side of the Indian River parallel to the Roseburn Road on its east side.
