This upriver view to the southwest from Albert Bridge is yet another example of the many charms of the Mira, all readily accessible to the driver who will but stop and look. The land at the far left of this photo is along the peninsula mentioned in the previous photo’s discussion; Trout Brook Road is well inland of what one sees here, on the other side of the aforementioned cove. The houses at the right are off Hillside Road. Even from Albert Bridge, the unnamed mountain ridge is still visible at the far horizon, though its height, relative to the adjacent hills, is now diminished by distance.
It appears to be a bit more protected here, since there are more flowers in bloom on the bush at the left; the seeded dandelions in the lower right also indicate a more advanced spring at Albert Bridge than further inland.
