After winding down the mountain, the Whycocomagh Road crosses the bridge over Kewstoke Brook and, following the flanks of Skye Mountain on the right, eventually straightens out into a long stretch parallel with Campbells Mountain on the left, which one sees here across the width of the photo.
With the exception of the evergreens across the top, the forest on Campbells Mountain is overwhelmingly deciduous. Alas, a cloud obscures the left side of the mountain, where quite a few red trees are hiding in the gloom, but the sun shines on the remainder of the mountainside, though snubbing the trees in the valley below the mountain in the foreground.
